I was focused on an incoming pack of coyotes headed for an elk carcass when I noticed the ravens kanoodling in the tree above. I am always around ravens, but honestly, this is the first time that I REALLY noticed them. They were affectionate and loving. Snuggling, seeming to kiss and preen each other. After this encounter, now I look for ravens everywhere.
