The first big snowstorm of the season finally arrived in Yellowstone on January 5th 2022. Normally they have 3-4 feet of snow on the ground by that date. The bison were healthy and happy, having been able to easily graze for months. This guy was hanging out with two other bachelor buddies when we approached. There is nothing that says wild west more than a snow coated bison!
